one if the themes is religion. and how religion can make people do some very, as you put it, crazy things. it is unclear whether or not the books themselves frown upon these things or not. but in the end, it really doesn’t matter.
this is wonderfully celebratory. so mindful. what a funny, strange, beautiful thing, we humans.

I think that the underlying theme, if you can really call it that, is that there is beauty and joy in every action, no matter how absurd.
